Bonded Pair

I'm wondering how I can get ATT to install a bonded line to my house. My neighbors that are running off the same access point lives further away and they have a bonded pair and decent service. ATT has refused to do this and they don't have a good explination as to why my neighbors have the service and we don't.

bonded pair is decided on distance away from the VRAD. if you dont meet the distance requirements you cant get it. obviously being further away allowed your neighbors .

yes if i recall correctly you must be 3500 foot cable length to qualify for bonded pair. bonded pair uses 2 cards which would normally be 2 customers. so bonded pair ties up 2 cards so there is a minimum  length to qualify.

That makes no sense at all. The distance shouldn't matter when it comes to crappy service. You can put the extra cable in a coil in my basement if thats the case. Plus my neighbors getting a bonded pair is only 350 feet way.

Well at least I have gotten them to agree to send out an engineer to check it all out.

Thank you for the update, @justinhansenrt.

We are happy to hear that you were able to get in contact with an engineer, and that they are going out to look to see what is going on.

Let us know how it goes, or if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thank you for choosing AT&T.
