AT&T will not cancel my internet service!!
I've called AT&T 4 times over the past month to cancel my home internet. I still have yet to receive confirmation of cancelation and I have been billed twice since I tried to cancel the first time. I keep getting cancelation numbers, and when I call back the representative says the same thing each time "our system was having trouble last time so your cancelation order did not go through." I even spoke to a supervisor a few days ago after begging to speak to one for about 15 minutes, he lied to me and said he would call back within 24 hours confirming my cancelation. Never heard back, my account has yet to be canceled. I'm at a loss of what to do, I do not want multiple overdue balances on my credit. I've already mailed back my router as well. I've spent about 5 hours on phone calls with representatives.
