ATT Prepaid hotspot--use in Spain
I have a prepaid hot spot that I pay for monthly. I am traveling to Spain next month and am wondering if I can use an international add on? It is not an option when I sign on to my account for add ons. There is no chat option to talk to ATT customer service. . . .

Great question, chicagomom57. Here's what you need to know about using hotspot with your AT&T PREPAID plan.
You are correct! For AT&T PREPAID phones, when you use data add-ons, you get 5GB of hotspot data when you use your phone while traveling in parts of Europe, the Caribbean, and Japan. It's possible to see a list of countries by visiting AT&T PREPAID International Travel Add-On. (Spain is on the list!)
To see the option for International Travel Add-On you may need to upgrade to a newer device and/or switch to a monthly plan. To upgrade your plan, see the details under Pick an AT&T PREPAID plan when you visit Choose or change your AT&T PREPAID plan.
However, if you're on an AT&T Data-only plan and using a wireless internet device such as an AT&T Netgear Nighthawk router then we want to advise that, currently, there is no international data package option at this time.
