AT&T Marketing Mail Opt-out

I am on the Do not call nor do not mail list. I still receive marketing regular mail. This is SO frustrating.
Just understanding how to remove myself from ATT's list took me hours, and I still cannot figure it out.

How many hours of our lives do we have to lose on things like this? Seriously?

Hello Roger, we are happy to address your concerns.

If you don't wish to receive special promotions or other sales calls from us, chat with us online or call 800.331.0500 (611 from your AT&T wireless phone) to ask that your number be listed on our own Do Not Call list.

AT&T will take the following steps to comply with your request:

  • Update our list within 30 days of your request.
  • Maintain your request for five years unless you ask to be removed from the list.
  • We and our representatives won't call you for sales promotions or other campaigns.
  • We may still continue to contact you for non-telemarketing purposes such as customer service surveys, public interest notices, or other service matters.

Note: If your name or number changes, you'll need to provide us your new information so that we won't unknowingly call you.

If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.

Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!

Complete (Edited per community guidelines).
I just tried that phone number. Talked to 3 different persons AND 7 robots, spent 2 hours, lost a bunch of nerves and a lot of hair, and I still can't accomplish it.
I have been a customer of AT&T for countless years.

Something so simple as that.

Good job AT&T. Good job.

We understand your frustration and we're here to help, @RogerTabet.

Here is more information to manage AT&T marketing messages. You can choose how you want to receive marketing or promotional messages from us. Or you can choose to opt out from all AT&T marketing emails, text messages, or mail.

  1. Go to Profile > Communication preferences
  2. If you have multiple accounts, select wireless from the drop-down at the top.
  3. In the Privacy options section, select Marketing preferences.
  4. Update and save your marketing profile preferences.
  5. You can select the opt-out link at the bottom of marketing emails to remove your email address.

Let us know if this helps or if you still need further assistance with this.
