AT&T Fixed Wireless Eligibility

I currently live at a house that can only get AT&T DSL (the most recent one, ADSL/VDSL, I believe). No other options exist; no other cable or DSL provider is available to us. Furthermore, AT&T has eliminated our 6Mbps plan, and if we change it, the only other option is a (very insufficient) 1.5Mbps plan, and we would lose the ability to go back if we made any account changes. For those reasons, I’m interested in AT&T Fixed Wireless, but the website does not offer that to us as an available option. How, if at all possible, can I go about “petitioning” AT&T to consider offering us this service, seeing how I have no other options?

Hi @officialbrandon,

We'd be happy point you in the right direction. Fixed wireless is designed to deliver high speed Internet, wirelessly, to eligible rural customers who may have limited or no access to traditional AT&T Internet or DSL services. First start by checking availability on the Fixed wireless page. If it still shows unavailable you can reach out to the Fixed wireless department at 877-990-0041 (English), or 877-990-0046 (Spanish) for eligibility and additional information.

I have been an ATT Fixed Wireless Internet customer for 8 months now.  Having subscribed to Hughenet for 2 years I almost immediately realized that Fixed Wireless Internet from ATT is the answer for rural customers.  Now with ATT driving the 5G vehicle and ATT Fixed Wireless internet's association with Cellular data, this could end up being an amazing solution.  In the interim I will finish my 24 month Hughesnet contract anxiously awaiting the 5G marriage with ATT Fixed Wireless internet.
