AT&T Fiber Strung for Over Two Years - Still Dark
To Whom It May Concern,
AT&T Fiber has been strung along our road for over two years north of Arcadia, OK but remains dark. Other than constantly checking my account to see if internet goes green or signing up to be notified (already done... three times... with no updates or feedback), is there another method to find out the status of when the line will be lit? I have left feedback on this subject, but AT&T has never responded (found this forum by accident).
I do understand economy of scale, but there are many houses and neighborhoods here, yet the fiber remains dark. AT&T is the only provider with wires in this area (Cox is not yet here); I can almost guarantee a 100% sign up rate, and resulting customer loyalty, in this area. Any assist is greatly appreciated as the current OTA ISP, while responsive, is not providing the bandwidth necessary in today's age of large security, game, or OS patches and updates.
Thanks in advance.
