At&t internet so expensive

Why is their Internet services so expensive? Their 1800-288-2020 number is supposed to be their budget department and its worthless because their underpaid employees cant do a d amn thing about your bill. Their favorite line is "theres nothing we can do right now". They tell you to call back after a year when the promotion is over. Waited a year and they'll tell you the same B s.

That is the general customer service number, it is not the budget department. Sometimes reps will call the Customer Loyalty Department the "concerned department", "promotions department", "account specialists", etc. When you start service or accept a promotional discount, you agree that pricing is for a specific amount of time-- typically 12 months. When those discounts expire, it is agreed the bill returns to the regular rate. You can certainly speak with the Customer Loyalty Department but if there are no other discounts available, then unfortunately that's just the way it is. Good luck!
