Upgrading Internet

We have 24m Internet and appear can “upgrade” to 45 for the same price per month - what additional installation is needed to do this?

With two parents now working from

home full time we BARELY made it once our son started online school so literally about to completely switch to another provider, but willing to see if this helps.

Have been a U-verse customer for over ten years now but with no Fiber in area looks like it’s time to move on in search of faster internet.

Internet 45/6 would be a bonded pair install requiring a 2nd line to be added. This includes...

1) another port at the VRAD,

2) pair to your serving terminal,

3) a pair to be connected in your drop wire,

4) a protector to be added at the NID,

5) a pair to be available and connected in your inside wiring referred to as homerun

6) the pair connected at the jack, wallplate

7) may include replacing your gateway depending on your model.

Most of these types of upgrades takes about 2 hours once the tech is on site. During this time figure you will likely be down (no internet) for about 50% of that time, or 1 hour.
