upgrading internet speed

I'm upgrading from 24 to 100 MB speed plans. I currently have a BGW210 modem.  Will the technician have to come in the house? Thanks

Yes, your speed upgrade means changing from a single pair copper connection to a bonded (2 lines) copper connection. This will involve working at 4 to 5 points taking estimated 2 to 3 hours of time. At least one of the points will be the jack the gateway is connected to, in addition to any splice location(s) inside the residential home.

If not desiring a tech in the home need to cancel the upgrade and keep your existing 24 speed. You may be able to upgrade to internet 50 without a tech in the home. Internet 100 is (2) internet 50s combined at the gateway. Each line carrying half the total bandwidth.

The 210 gateway will not need to be replaced.
