Running Internet Through Coax
Hi,
I self-installed AT&T internet today, via a CAT5 cable between the AT&T wall jack and the provided gateway. My house does not have ethernet wall ports however, only coax. I was wondering if it's possible to route the internet through the house to the coax ports, or if I need to install ethernet ports throughout the house?
Thanks!

You can't extend ethernet through coax. You might have success using one of the powerline adapters on the market, which provide ethernet through the home's electrical wiring.

How's the coax run? If the coax isn't stapled down use it for a pull wire to pull in your phone cable. Open basement, easy job, finished basement or no basement, more of a challenge.
