* Pace 5268AC with Netgear Nighthawk R7000 *
Greetings.
Really quick, how can I get the NEW 5268AC work with a Netgear R7000 router? Basicilly I want the Netgear to do ALL the work; DHCP, Wireless, etc. I just need the 5258AC to connect.
In addition, I have static IP addresses that I need the the R7000 to be able to use since I use it to access my home automation tools.
I look forward to hearing from someone, anyone. AT&T has been NO help.
Thank you.

The 5268ac is not a true router but more of a network appliance as it does not have any downstream routing protocols. Therefore, if AT&T is providing you with static IP addresses there is no way for the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 to know of their existence unless you connect the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 to the 5268ac in "bridge mode" or more accurately to pass through the 5268ac firewall. This will allow the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 to assume whatever IP address AT&T assigns it.
