Not Sure What to Do....

So I was excited to learn that U-verse was in my area when I called them last Monday, Dec. 29 because our DSL service was going out more often and for longer periods of time and we needed a fix.

So we made the appointment for U-verse to be installed at our house on Friday, Jan. 2.  The technician came out, spent an hour and told us there was a problem and he needed to call a DSL specialist.  He came out and an hour later they said there was a server issue that they couldn't fix and we would just need to wait. "Shouldn't be too late tonight you'll be up and running."

No worries.  Well the whole weekend went by with no service.  I called the tech (who graciously left his cell phone number) on Monday and he gave me a few trouble-shooting tips and told me if they didn't work to schedule a technician to come back out.

The fixes didn't work, so I called Monday afternoon to schedule a fix.  They were to come from "1 - 4pm" on Tuesday, Jan. 6.  I waited, took the afternoon off work to make sure I could be there, and no one showed up.  At 5pm I called and spoke to "T.J." and he checked with dispatch who explained to him that they DID come out and fixed the issue.

It's possible, but unlikely, that they came while I was sitting next to the window under which they drilled a hole in my house and looked at the service without my knowledge.  But what isn't possible is that they "fixed" the issue when our internet still doesn't function.  So I made a THIRD appointment for this morning from "8:30am - 12:30pm."  Here it is 1pm and nothing.

I have no idea what to do.  I worked in Customer Service for 2 years and I know an unreasonable request from a reasonable one.  I ordered U-verse to be installed at our home, and 5 days after installation we have nothing and can't even get a technician to come to our home.  Is it acceptable to sign up for internet service, but then never get that internet service?

What do I do?
