no show at appt time and waited all day

I made appointment at 7am on 1/23/22 for a 8-12pm window. At 11am text comes thru saying tech will be late. At 1pm I called customer support and she reassured  me tech was late and still coming out. It's now 5pm. No update. Wasted my whole day. Thanks AT&T you guys get paid on time every month..The one time I need service you screwed me and the whole day of false hopes.

So I called at 530pm to reschedule and customer support goes let me check status of tech b4 you reschedule. Todd from the Tulsa center goes the tech just clicked your ticket and is on his way. I simultaneously get a text saying tech on the way. I said thank you and start the waiting game again. At 615pm text comes in saying ech has cancelled and I am rescheduled for Sunday.

Thanks for jerking me around all day til the end of your shift. Real clown camp at AT&T.

We understand that your tech appointment was rescheduled by AT&T. There are many reasons why that could happen. To many of them to list here, but rest assured that we will respond to the next appointment. 

 

To help you keep track of your appointment, you can use our Tech Tracker site. Here is how to use that site:

  1. Click on the Link provided.
  2. Click on "Find My Tech".
  3. Wait for the next page to load.
  4. Under the "Search for Your Order" the search field should auto populate with "Account Number".
  5. Fill out the information requested and click the blue "Search" button.

This site will give you the most up-to-date information about tech appointments. Also, if you have the myAT&T app, you can see the current status of your appointment and make changes, if needed. 

 

If the tech does not arrive on Sunday, as the update told you, please reach back out here and we can take a look to see what is going on with this missed appointment.

I've now had 2 missed appointments.  My internet has been out 1.5 weeks. I had an appointment last Monday from 2-4. My husband took off work. Got a text saying they were late. Then nothing. Called and customer service said there was no explanation for the no show.  Rescheduled for today 2-4. Nothing. A text that said running late and nothing.  So at this point have an appointment with xfinity for this Wednesday to set up internet.  Again, they get paid on time and the first time I need them, nothing.

Same for me and after countless calls and 2 chats and request for call backs, supervisors anything - no help. And, AT&T has failed to honor the gift cards promised when I switched.  Can’t get a straight answer, resolution or anyone who will resolve issues

Not that anyone at AT&T cares or will respond, as evidenced by the countess complaints on the forums and internet. On Sunday August 7 I called and finally got a human being to discuss modem and wireless coverage issues.  They set an appoint for Friday August 12 and “kindly” waived some absurd $150 fee.  FRIDAY - NO SHOW! Again tried the horrible call in and chat service and was finally told that I cancelled the appointment on August 9 - TOTALLY INCORRECT!  Still had the problem and why wait around if I cancelled. Spent hours on Friday and Today getting the runaround no answers no resolution. In addition, AT&T has FAILED to send the incentive gift cards I was promised when I switched.  Again, nothing but runaround and they are coming we promise after weeks and weeks.  TOTALLY disgusted by ATT

Feel free to read my follow up post - no show / cancellation with no notice, service performance issue continues, no call backs, no resolution - but I sure get that bill and am expected to pay on time!  Wasted a whole day. What’s your point ?
