New Build House but with no internet providers available

I just bought my first home in the middle of a major city and since I have been an AT&T customer since 2013 I figured that getting Internet would be easy. WRONG! I called AT&T several times and I kept getting the same response, "AT&T doesn't service my area". The only problem with that is that they actually DO SERVICE MY AREA! I talked to several of my neighbors and 4 of them already have internet through AT&T. When I brought this up to AT&T the only thing they said was the same line about not servicing my area. When I called other providers to get internet, I heard the same thing over and over. I talked to the builders and they said that they have nothing to do with the internet providers and insisted that they wired everything correctly and my house is able to receive internet service. What should be my next steps?

Why are there no responses for these great questions? I can’t get ATT at my newly built house and USPS is updated for us but every provider we call say we can get cable and phone but no internet, all we want is the internet, the telephone post outside even has a DSL port yet no one can do anything for us

Rural or semi rural area?

City? Zip code?

80% of the addresses within ATT 21 state footprint can receive UVERSE hardwired internet service which includes ADSL2+, VDSL FTTN and more recent FTTP now called ATT Fiber but was previously known as UVERSE GIGAPOWER.

If check the neighbors addresses using online address checker, can they order ATT internet today? If yes, what speed tier available?

My thoughts are your in a less populated area with LEGACY DSL with best speed 6 and 150G data cap. ATT is not taking new customers in these areas, if the existing accounts cancel, they will not get their service back.

For these 20% of addresses where UVERSE based internet is not available, ATT offers cellular internet service. For 1.1 million addresses within select areas of 18 states there is ATT FIXED WIRELESS. For the other 14+ million addresses would be ATT HOMEBASE aka HOTSPOT.

IF cannot receive either ATT hardwired internet or local cable company internet then your choices will be either some form of cellular service or satellite service from HughesNet or ViaSat (Exede).

Please post city, zip code...
