  • My AT&T internet service has been down/broken for 12 of the last 19 days because AT&T WON’T FIX IT and I’m getting text messages from AT&T regarding “going over my data allowance” on my cell service becaue I’M USING CELL SERVICE ALL THE (Edited per community guidelines)ING TIME because they won’t fix the internet service that I’m paying for and NOT GETTING. Therefore, they send me texts multiple times an hour saing I’m getting charged $30 a day for going over EVEN THOUGH IT’S THEIR FAULT MY INTERNET SERVICE ISN’T WORKING and I’m working from home for the last three months!

AT&T is waving mobile data overages until June 20th I believe. Simply apply for the overage waiver online.

Your post has been moved to the correct for him for internet, but my knowledge ends with wireless so I will leave you here

Have you called 800.288.2020 and asked for a line check or tech visit?

@browndk26 Multiple times. I have spent over 20 hours repeating my story anew to each person I get transferred to and having to wait on hold in between. Each call takes at least 3 hours to fet to anyone who claims to be able to do something about the problem.

So you're calling support at 800.288.2020 and waiting a really long time to get through. What do you tell them? After explaining your problem, what do they tell you? Normally, if you report 'No Service', support will attempt to check the line and if possible, the equipment. Is this happening? If so, what's the verdict? It shouldn't be hard for support to determine if a tech is needed, new equipment is needed, or both.
