Moving up internet activation date?

Placed my order for self install last Friday 9/16. Received my router yesterday 9/20. Upon installing attempted to activate my equipment in the SHM app only to discover that my device activation date was 12/31/2037. Called AT&T, was on the phone with tech support for 45+ minutes only to be told the soonest my equipment can be activated is Monday 9/26. Is there any way I can have this service date moved up? I live in the middle of nowhere and our cell service is ok at best. Thanks in advance.

For help with your activation date, you'll need to call our Customer Support team at 800-288-2020. They are equipped to assist with requests of this nature. Their operating hours are as follows:

  • M - F, 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. CT
  • Sa - Su, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. CT
