No, but you can configure the U-verse Gateway to put your router in IP Passthrough/DMZplus mode (somewhat like configuring the Gateway in "bridge" mode). Your router will be assigned your external public IP address when it requests an address via DHCP, can therefore perform NAT itself, and gets most unsolicited traffic sent straight to it from the Gateway.
