Internet not activated self install

So today was my activation date set for after 2pm. Got the modem service up and get the power light, wifi light green but doesn't work, and broadband red and blinking. I called and was told to wait until after 5pm. I wait and same thing. Called back and was then told to wait until 1am. What?? Can someone tell me if service is activated that late? I cannot get through to any tech support now. My call is disconnected after waiting 40 minutes twice now. The ATT app seems to be down and I can't view my order status. Can someone tell me what to do now or if activation will take place that late? To be clear it was simple internet self install through phone Jack. Have had this Jack with Att before and no issue there.

i am having similar issues. Ive gotten the run around for a week now. started with disconnected phone numbers and being hung up on, to being on the phone for several hours the last 3 days. ATT does not seem to care one bit either.. but anyways, i was told tonight about half hour ago, my service should be on at 12am.... they have also already told me this once, so i wont hold my breath, but yes they ”say” they do activate that late, they said its based on the day so for example we were told the 27th, therefore any time after 12am....

Its frustrating! My activation date was actually today. Then was told it will be tonight at 12 or 1am. I'm going to stay up to check. My kids need that for school since we are in quarantine. I wonder if they see who's calling and don't want to deal with it lol. But seriously keep me posted about your activation and I will update as well. Here's to hoping ATT will do right!!

Can I ask how long have you waited for them to answer? Because I don’t know how long they will let’s me talk to an representative. Waiting on hold is frustrating too.

I waited over 47 minutes the first time I called. The times where I was disconnected I waited about 40 minutes each. I still have no internet. I'm getting pretty annoyed at this point.

I'd be pretty annoyed, too. Did either of you get a resolution to this?

Kinda. So today I called and was told she would send a tech between 2 and 4p. 5p rolls around and no tech or call. I chat and am told there was no record of an appointment and he schedules me for one tomorrow. This time I get the texts and confirmation of appt. If no one shows I will be cancelling and figuring out internet elsewhere. Very frustrating. I will say that all the agents I have spoke to were very friendly and eager to help. Just think follow through could use some work

I will! Its between 10a and 12 tomorrow so we hopefully!
