So me and my mom received our modem. But our problem is we don’t know where to plug the other ends of the red and yellow cords. We plug them in to the modem then what ? Please help.

If all you have are red and yellow cables you must have fiber. Do you know what your service is? You can also put your modem model in your favorite search engine to get installation instructions.
