I switched from AT&T DSL to U-Verse, and now can't send or receive email on my account
I spent almost an hour with an AT&T tech trying to get access to my email again. No luck. What gives? It was working fine before I switched, it works fine on any other wifi area; resturants, libraries, hotels, just not at my residence. This is unacceptable and I'd like it fixed.
The tech said the issue would be "elevated" whatever that means. Meanwhile I'm not getting the service I thought I would, and am not happy. I've already missed a couple of important notices, and feel ridiculous going to the office to check my email.
What can be done about this?

If you're using Outlook (or some other web client) to send email, you'll need to change around your outgoing mail port from 25 to 995. This link should get you what you need.

If he was on ATT DSL, he was already using the correct settings, but is running to the fact ATT Uverse stopped supporting email clients 6/2011. New users do not have access to use email clients on ATT/Yahoo email.
