Fixed wireless internet

I had no or with my internet until we moved but where we moved is in the service area. All lights on my gateway are green and the tvs and computer connect to it but then it says that there is no internet connection. My laptop then reads att exterior antenna issue. I have rebooted everything and still can not get it to work. The hold times are ridiculous I was on hold for over two hours this morning trying to get help. Any help would be appreciated.

Fixed Wireless is cellular service assigned to one antenna only, installation and maintenance is performed by your local DirecTv techs… if during a tech appointment an issue is discovered with the tower they would need to create a ticket to have the tower looked at.

Do you also have an ATT HOME BASE aka HOTSPOT, these can connect to any tower with acceptable signal, does not require an installed antenna or DirecTv tech involvement.

Fixed Wireless uses BAND 30 (2300Mhz), if signal is weak or drops and the antenna connects to BAND 2 (1900Mhz) your service will not work.

Requires line of sight, heavy foliage can affect signal

Hi there, @Kelewis22. AT&T here! We would love to help you with your Fixed Wireless service.

Like our ACE, @my thoughts, stated, we might need to get a tech out there to resolve the concern, since the troubleshooting did not work for you.

In just a few moments, you will get a notification in the upper right-hand corner, on this thread, that will be a private message. We will continue our conversation there.

In the meantime, we do ask that you gather your AT&T account information together, because we will ask for it.

Please look out for that private message.
