Fake att appointment
Someone called from a 929 area code to set up an att installation. It coincided with what I was expecting. I figured it was a scam when no one showed up at the requested time and att said they had no record of the order.
I don't think I gave any sensitive information, but what is the goal of this scam?

Please call our Global Fraud Management team at 888-471-4576 to report the installation order. We also suggest that you Review security options for AT&T accounts to learn the account settings you can change to guard against unauthorized access to your account online, in the store, or by phone.
