Exposed cable

We had a cable installed to our home on 03.21.2019 and it still has not been buried.  Neighbors have complained that they are unable to mow their lawns due to the exposed cable and our internet connection has been terrible, which I'm hoping it's also due to the exposed cable.  Our streaming services are constantly buffering.  I've tried using an Ethernet cable and rebooting the system on multiple occasions.  Please have someone come out and bury this cable ASAP.IMG_20190416_113658224.jpgFrom the street

No sweat, @monica.wilson.

We can help you get your wire buried as quickly as possible. Reach out to our Buried Wire Center at 1(800)924-9420. You can call Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. ET. Please note, this phone number is just for ground cables that need to be buried. More details can be found within the article linked above. Thank you.

ATT uses contractors to bury wiring. In northern states such as your Michigan and my state of Wisconsin (Ameritech region) nothing is buried while ground is frozen. Generally this is from Thanksgiving to around April 1st, the contractors then have 4 months of requests to fulfill. We have been told expect current backlog work to be within 12 weeks (April, May, June) and new buried requests placed at this time to be July or August. By Labor day to Halloween normal requests are 2 weeks out. November within 1 week till ground freezes again.

Call and see when, but do not be surprised if told 2 to 3 months out as customers have had wiring on lawn since December or Jan/Feb that need to be completed.

Southern states are normally within 2 to 4 weeks year round.
