Does an installation technician need to come to my new home if I'm transferring my Internet or TV service?
Moving services & going from Internet1000 to Basic Internet . Just need to know if a tech needs to come install anything if Im taking Gateway from old residence . Thanks!

Does the new address currently have working internet service?
If yes, what speed tier.
A customer self install (CSI) would be allowed with previous working service at same speed tier.
If no previous service, or if speed tier will be different (example internet 25 to internet 50 requiring bonded pair) then a tech installation appointment will be needed.
If have Uverse IPTV service and moving the equipment will require a tech appointment as self install is not available for DVR services.
