Construction Development

I have a piece of property 200’ from an intersection with ATT internet. Also have ATT can on my property that I think is just DSL. How do I get internet from the intersection to my property? All I can get ahold of is customer service. Hoping to talk to someone in engineering. Please help!

You already have ATT internet as an option when checking your address online for availability?

If enquiring about ATT Fiber that is planned and deployed in specific stages to sevice a pre determined addresses and locations…. You do not add on to this.

The next neighborhood over that your in would need to be planned for, budgeted, deployed, tested before fiber service would be available.

ATT 10 year time line to reach 50% of hardwired addresses (30+ million out of 60+ million) has completed year 7 end of 2022 with 3 more years to go to add about 10 million fiber residential addresses out of 40 million without fiber upgrade. Therefore most addresses have a 1 in 4 or 25% of having fiber internet by 2026. Chances increase for NEW GREENFIELD development of apartment, condo and subdivisions. Next best chances are current FTTN addresses with internet 25 to 100 as options. Least expected is ADSL2+ locations with 18 or lower as current option.

From what I understand the fast internet is already ran in the subdivision. My property adjoins the subdivision but I don’t have the service. How do I get it?

We'd be happy to help you find out if fiber is available in your area, T09.

To begin, you will first have to find out if fiber is available in any parts of your neighborhood.

From there, you would be able to pick a plan that best suits your needs.

Please reach back out and let us know if this helps.

Need to be a part of the subdivision… part of planned addresses that fiber was being deployed to.

Planning on moving?

Other options you have available… most likely local cable company if the ATT DSL does not provide the speed you desire.

Cannot build a new home in the fiber subdivision?

https://broadbandnow.com/ATT

while the above map may be outdated about 6 months, shows there are dividing lines where fiber if and is not available… an address needs to be planned for, and facilities provided to have any service.

Again cannot connect to the subdivision would need a new planned layout to include your address, or be a part of the 50% that will not have fiber by 2026.

Thanks for that update, @T09!

First things first, AT&T is working on expanding internet service as fast as possible. There's a lot of planning, equipment, manpower, and time factor in. When are faster speeds coming? We don't have a date.

What we can do is explain why it may not be available, what to look out for, and how to research your address.

Since you're already aware of what's currently available, you can sign up for a notification if faster speeds do become available in the future. We'll send you a notification via your preferred method as soon as AT&T Fiber becomes available to you.

Learn more about why faster AT&T speeds may not be available

You can also fill out our address research request form. This will provide us with the information that's needed in order to check for the availability of service in your area.

Please feel free to reach back out if you need help in the future! Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.
