Cant connect to pc via external network

Hi, I am using a WRT32x router and an att pace as a passthrough router. I am having trouble connecting to servers, and pcs (through remote connect) externally. When connected to the wifi i can connect to a remote desktop or a game server (locally hosted) through the computers ipv4, but not externally using a ddns or the public ip. I have ports forwarded through the WRT32x router and the pace, i have made sure to open up ports on the windows firewall and my antivirus too. Could this be a problem with the passthrough setup or just a problem with the WRT32x router setup.
