Can't Browse / Slow Browse
I'm experiencing extremely slow browsing on some devices (laptop and iPhone) and not able to browse on other devices (different laptop and different iPhone). I went through the whole troubleshooting thing last night and it was fixed for maybe 10 minutes? I recently moved and switched my plan from Internet 50 to Internet 300, techs have already come and set it up, so this absolutely should not be happening. How was my Internet 50 faster than the 300?? The troubleshooting page isn't helpful at all; it's telling me to do things like clear my cache and cookies, or try a different browser. It even tried walking me through the steps of connecting to my own network... Like, really!? Everything is connected to the network. The chat is busy as well. So someone: PLEASE HELP. I'm sooooooo frustrated with this!

This seems to be a common problem, I had the same trouble my self for months. It ended up being bad wiring at a junction box not far from my address. The techs had to rewire the box and my signal stays steady now, but I have other issues with mine as well, but that's another story. What you need to do is call 800-288-2020 and ask for "Tech Support" when prompted by the automated system. You will finally talk to a real person, tell them the problem and they will run a diagnostics program from their end, this usually takes a few minutes, when done they will be able to determine where the problem is, either on your end or theirs. then they should schedule a repair tech to address the issue. Make sure you write down all information they give you including but not limited to your trouble ticket number. they should schedule a tech within a week, it's going to take a minute because the strike put everyone behind, so bear with them they will get it done. Be persistent and they will correct the problem. Again the southeastern strike is going to delay things and they may change your date and time, but this is the only way to repair the issue.
