AT&T doesn’t take care of its customers
I moved to a new house and was told that I would have to wait for a few days before the service technician would arrive. I waited and he never called, never showed up. My wife called support and was treated like a criminal because she didn’t know my pass code. All she wanted to know was if the technician was coming.
I called and was assured the tech was coming. He never showed.
I called support again, and was put on hold for quite a while, just to be told that no technician was coming, and furthermore I would have to wait 9 more days for a simple move setup.
Said the technician couldn’t make it today because of an outage in the area. I asked around. No outage. Even called local AT&T Store and asked if there was an outage. He said he didn’t know of one. When I explained why I wanted to know, he couldn’t get off the phone fast enough!
