ASUS AiMesh & AT&T Fixed Wireless Internet

We currently use a Fixed Wireless product provided by our electric co-op (GVEC). The service is great but slow (10 meg max). I have a 3 router ASUS AiMesh network that now works flawlessly. I want to change to AT&T's Fixed Wireless product, but I understand the AT&T gateway router is a required part of the system. Is their a way to either do away with the gateway router, bypass the gateway router or configure the gateway router so the main ASUS AiMesh router will function as intended on the AT&T system? I would imagine that this would be a problem with most "Mesh" network systems regardless of the brand? If it can't be done, what "Mesh" system might work with it? Or is there another solution?
