Apartment complex fiber optic internet

I currently live in a new apartment complex that has AT&T fiber optic internet service available.

My apartment is 2 bed room and already a patch installed in master bedroom closet to each Ether jacks through out my apartment.

I already have fiber optic internet and tv service together in my apartment and have a question about installing all wire connection.

ONT - AT&T modem - patch panel (each Ethernet jack) - in living room jack to AT&T tv box

Please advise if I can connect above setting.

Thank you

Hi There @mikejsung,

That is a very good question.

We do not see a problem that type of connection, however there might be a party that might have an objection to it and that is your apartment management. There might need to be more jacks installed in the living room and that will require electrical work.

So the best course of action to take is, go to your apartment management and have someone come take a look at your apartment and ask them what you need to accomplish your goal.  After that, reach back out to us and we can see how we can provide the new configuration.

Thank you for your question,

I have the same problem with my two-bedroom apartment. I also call an electrician but the problem still fixed.

The fiber optical net is better than any other internet service. I use fiber-optic service for more than three years in my apartment.
