"This site cannot be reached" intermittent issue.
My WiFi strength and internet speeds are normally good. About 5 minutes out of an hour I lose the ability to connect to new pages and will get the message "This Site Cannot Be Reached." If I've connected to something prior, downloading a file, streaming music, they will continue to work. It's only when I try to go to a new location. Sounds like a DNS issue but I'm no expert. Like I said, it's intermittent, and the rest of the time things work fine. Naturally I'm having a tough time convincing tech support I have an issue. They run their scans when things are working and see no issue.

Hi there jmayday, let's help you get back to browsing the Internet without website error messages!
We think you might be on to something with your idea that this is due to a DNS problem. Let's start there!
Sometimes the DNS cache becomes corrupt, out of date, or just messes up. The most common result is that you can’t get to some websites. Follow these steps to flush your DNS cache on Windows:
You should see:
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache
C:\>
As a side note, rebooting your gateway and the device(s) having the issue could fix the error message. Here are the steps to reboot:
To learn more about what could be causing the websites not to load and for more suggestions on how to resolve this, be sure to visit our help and solutions article that discusses websites not working.
We'll be here if you still need help!
