Smart Home Manager - how to UNHIDE

While setting up my extender, I had problems & click hide device.

The extender is now blinking like it is connected (5 ghz blink ever 5 seconds or so), but it is not showing up in Smart Home Manager.

I have searched & searched in the app & via my BFF GOOGLE, but cannot find where to "UNHIDE".

AHIA,

Larry....

We're here to help, @lreames2001!

Are you trying to do this via the Mobile Application, or via your Desktop? We suggest trying both to see if you are able to view your Wi-Fi Extender.

Let us know if this works- we'll be here to assist!

Hey, @lreames2001.

If you haven't tried the desktop version, we'd recommend giving it a go. If you don't find it after that, you can try rebooting your Wi-Fi gateway.

Let us know if this helps!

I have tried the desktop app & the iPhone app. I clicked HIDE during setup & I cannot find where to UNHIDE  the extender, in either app (desktop/iPhone).

The extender 5ghz light is blinking & I have been told that if that is happening, the extender is on line regardless if it appears in the app, but that is not the case.

The link provided is no longer active. https://soc.att.com/2MtGGcT

ATT is not answering this question on the forums or through regular tech support. It is possible that your main router will need to be reset. That kind of reset is available remotely from ATT if you can get them to do it.

It’s a very simple question I am asking, how do I unhide the extender that is hidden.

I am having the same issue with the second of two AirTies 4920. The one is functional and visible in Smart Home Manager. The second on is functional, but hidden. I know my second one is active because I can direct connect through ethernet and I have access through the device. But, during set up, I too had an issue and mistakenly hit "hide the device." I've checked the Android Smart Home manager and the web based myhomenetwork.att.com. The second AP 4920 is hidden in both places.

I've accessed the Pace 5268AC directly through its IP address and now have the IP address for the second AirTie 4920. While I can login to the first one through the IP, I cannot reach the second one through it's IP.

An AT&T support doc found through Google says hidden devices should reappear next time the device reconnects. I've rebooted the AT 4920 numerous times, even factory reset it, but the device is still hidden. I've rebooted the Pace 5268 but still no luck. My guess the "hide" is based on the MAC address which means even though I've factory reset the AP 4920, the MAC is still causing it to be hidden in the router interface / Smart Home Manager.

Any Help from ATTCares would be greatly appreciated.
