Slow performance while VPN through Cisco Anyconnect
Current level of internet service in my area is 18mbps. While I work from home through the Cisco Anyconnect software to VPN in to my work network, I have a severe drop off in performance. Speed tests off VPN are 18+, while connected to VPN they drop off below 1 mbps.Unable to find any guides on modifying or disabling the firewall on my NVG589 router. does anyone know if it is possible to bypass the firewall?

@SlowVPN Here's the 589 manual:
589 manual
See Nat Gaming p69 and IP Passthrough on p75. Good luck 😉
Edit: See the VPN warning on bottom of pg73.

figured I'd just ask my question here since the subject is the same...
Had Uverse GigaPower installed on Friday. Getting ~950 up & down over ethernet, but when I connect Cisco AnyConnect to work from home (as AT&T employee) it drops down to around 100/75 down/up. Not surprised there's a slowdown, but losing ~90% of the speed doesn't seem right.
Over wireless, there's still a loss but not as bad. Getting mid-to-high 100's (~180) download without VPN, then low 100's (~120) with VPN...so a 50% loss.
Anything that can be done? (yes, this is a first world problem...only getting 100MB, especially when I'm disconnecting 3MB DSL tomorrow)
