Reverse DNS and Website questions

I have received 5 new static ips yesterday from range 76.XXX.XXX.1/5. In one of them (76.XXX.XXX.2) I requested for Reverse(PTR) for email server domain which is "mail.domain.com".

But my website (www.domain.com) also runs on the same ip address server (76.XXX.XXX.2) on IIS. If admin changes 76.XXX.XXX.2 dns to mail.domain.com will my website works. I have godaddy setup properly.

I did not assign to the ip address to machine yet. I planning after update dns want to change it.

Just asking will my website works?

Hi @svadlakonda,

Yes it can work. You just want to make sure you have your systems setup correclty, so they can respond to each request appropriately.
