Remote access to personal router

I am new to ATT Uvers.

ATT states I must use there equiptment and gave me the NVG589 Gateway/Router.

I put it in Bridge-Mode(gateway), to allow my personal router (linksys) the ability to do all the work.

Okay, The bridge-mode portion works fine, internal devices work fine, wired and wireless.

Problem, I can not access my Linksys router remotely (externally) and I would perferr to have my personal router do all the work for multiple reason, mainly security, and simi-important - I have the Linksys Router already setup with port forwards for secutiy cams...

I can access the ATT Gateway from external network, but not the Linksys router 😞

Any advise on how to make this work from scratch is greatly appreciated. newbie assistance 🙂

You won't be able to access your Linksys Router externally unless you are using Linksys' Smart WiFi routers.  You have to use At&t equiptment, because of the U-Verse TV and Phone standards requiring you to use their DNS.
