Remote Access an External Hard Drive connected to PACE 5286ac router/modem on uVerse
Is there anyway to remotely access a PACE 5286ac router/modem. I have an external hard drive with pictures on it that I want to be able to access when I am away from home. How can I do this

Thanks I will try. ( I used to have a NVG599 and it had a REMOTE ACCESS setting that allowed the Public IP to work. ) I did a hard reset on the Pace and got the Pinholes area to appear but I dont see a Remote Access switch. I wonder if saving a selection under pinholes will activate the public IP?

You're not going to get REMOTE ADMIN ACCESS on any AT&T Consumer Gateway. None. Nada.
You can allow external access to internal devices by port. That's what I'm telling you that can set up.
