Port Fowarding to create a minecraft server.

Hello, I can't figure this out for the life of me. Whenever i follow the steps of this article ( I have issues selecting the device to port forward to. It refuses to allow me to port forward to my computer even though i can clearly see and choose it from the drop down menu (steps 7 and 8 in that article). After i hit add (step 8) it automatically applies this port forward to a different device. PLEASE HELP :(

We're happy to help with port forwarding, @kaneki512.

We have information on how to set up port forwarding. We recommend doing a factory reset and try setting it up again.

If that does not help, let us know:

  1. What is the model of your gateway?(So we can provide specific steps).
  2. Are you using a 3rd party gateway?(To confirm the gateway is compatible).

We will be looking forward to your response.

They have no idea, it's just part of the boilerplate the system fed them to post.

Factory resetting the AT&T gateway is probably the #2 thing we suggest after reboot the gateway because surprisingly enough it often fixes lots of odd problems.

That being said, we've seen this request for Minecraft servers a lot and I don't recall anyone ever getting server to work.  😞
