Port Forwarding on the NVG589

Hello all, 


I have scoured the internet and this forum to find out how to make the port forwarding work on this particular router. I have configured it per instructions found here:



My ports are still not viewable from outside my network. I've talked extensively with ATT agents, but none have been helpful. One even told me that I had to have a static IP address for this to work. That can't be true becuase my previous router (2 wire) worked for years without a static IP address. Does anyone know how to get this working?

I am sorry about the issues you are having with your NVG589. I noticed the link you posted was towards a 2wire. Here is a great post from a fellow community user that covers the NVG510, but will work for the NVG589.
