Pace 5268 recntly stopped allowing me to connect to my work Remote User VPN

2-3 weeks ago, connection to my work remote user VPN stopped being connected with a message that something between me and the VPN server was blocking the connection.  It worked before and nothing in my control changed.  I have a business DSL account so I can host web and email servers from my home and that works fine.  I know that my Windows 10 VPN connection configuration has not changed and that if I connect to the Internet through my cell phone provider (shout out to CSpire), the VPN connection comes up without any problem just like it used to when connected to the ATT network.

Waited the usual 30 minutes to talk to a tech support person, who after much "hmmming", and "wait a moment", declared that I had an old modem (it was replaced a few months ago, it was a 5268 and it was replaced with a 5268, for an unrelated problem).  I said, if that fixes the problem, great.  I was told I would get a bg-210 or something like that.  When the box arrived, it was another Pace 5268 with the same hardware id, and an OLDER firmware version.  I plugged it in and the software updated to the EXACT SAME VERSION I already had on the EXACT SAME equipment, so of course, it worked no better.
Waited 30 minutes for another tech support guy, after much "hmmming" and "wait a minute" and trying to place my pc into the DMZ+ with no better result. I asked what happened to the  210 modem.  More "hmmming", I don't know if that's in your district I'll have to check and get back to you, which, of course, never did happen.  So I have the hassle of returning a copy of what I had and still have to use my cell phone to connect to work. Thanks ATT for nothing.   They offered to send me to paid service to fix a problem that they themselves caused, isn't that sketchy?

I live in a rural area, the best I can get is the DSL based 12MB service, other than cell service, the other option is Satellite, bu as I run servers, I get classed as a business, which is even more expensive with the competitors.   I just need ATT to stop (Edited)ing around with simple stuff.

Hello, @tomprodehl

Having a reliable connection to your work’s VPN is crucial right now with so many of us working from home.  We will do what we can to help get you reconnected.

Since your router was replaced and downloaded the same firmware, let’s look at a few settings to see if the latest version could be causing an issue:

We also have some great steps outlined on a previous post where another customer was also having trouble connecting to his VPN.

Let us know if these steps were successful,
