Odd UNSCHEDULED visit on a Saturday from AT & T Rep.
This past Saturday the 10th of October, we were paid a visit at our Townhome in San Diego at about 1:00 P.M. This visit was unannounced and unscheduled. The young man was simply wearing an AT & T Light Blue Shirt, and had a clipboard where he was making notes. He was NOT wearing an identifying badge and simply asked, "Hi, I'm here from AT & T and would like to know how your AT & T Internet working?" I answered no problem and quickly shut my door (as I had my dog going crazy barking at him).
Does AT & T practice making these unannounced "service calls" randomly? Are identifiable badges not required? Wearing a light blue AT & T shirt simply is not enough identification.

Yes badges are required At&t does not do unannounced visits they schedule a customervisit most likely a 3rd party sales similar to the door to door book sales and they aren’t following AT&T protocol for 3rd party and identification they are however allowed to set their own schedules and do unannounced visits
