No longer receiving DHCP on ethernet connection; WiFi is okay

I keep dropping my internet connection.  It turns out that I am no longer receiving DHCP IP addresses on Ethernet.  WiFi still works.  I have restarted my mac, and restarted the router a few times.  Works for awhile, and then loses DHCP.

I thought that it was somehow related to the additional switch on my network, so I removed the additional switch.  I still lose DHCP on ethernet.

Spoke with ATT on the phone, and they are sending me a new router/modem to see if that is the issue...

Also having this issue after returning from a trip and everything worked until I did the Windows 7 Update on three computers.

Let us know if the new hardware resolved the issue, also did you happen to update windows about the time it failed?

Disregard the Win 7 comments, just noticed you are on a Mac

Replacing the modem seemed to correct the issue.  It has been 2 weeks now without issue.
