Modem completely reboots at exactly 12 AM everyday.

My modem has been rebooting itself everyday at EXACTLY 12 AM since the start of June. I really don't know why and I have no idea how to fix it, so if anyone has any helpful ideas by all means; I am open to any options. Please and thank you (My Modem's model is the 5268AC FXN)!!

Hello @Dylan3136,

 

Having your RG (Residential Gateway/modem) reboot on a repeat basis is something we want to look into resolving. 

 

Even though the RG is auto-rebooting; you might move forward with a restart or factory reset. 

 

If you do a factory reset, understand that customized settings are lost and you would need to restore any of those settings. 

 

One thing to think about as well is ruling out an issue with the power connection to the RG. For example, if you're RG is plugged into a power strip, you may try plugging directly into a wall outlet and see if you contend with the same issue. This would only be a test just to see if there may be an issue/interference problem.

 

Do you have any devices/hardware that may be going through an update during that time? Prior to this situation, around the start of June, did you add any new devices/hardware?
