"Losing" connection to the internet

So recently (About a month ago) my internet connection has been nothing but flawed. I play games such as League of Legends, Overwatch, ETC; but recently the internet doesnt want to keep a stable connection to the internet, going from an average of 29ping to anywhere around 1000-9999ping, but thats not the issue. I found a solution to that in a program called haste. Now the problem is that every few minutes while playing any kind of online game it will just stop every few minutes as if the internet just turned off. I disabled haste even though I spent a lot of money on the program and I still got the disconnects. I have went ahead and talked to many of my friends from my area and online who have at&t and asked if they were having the same issue, All said yes. So that means its not just me experiencing these issues. I just wanted to put this out there so maybe in case AT&T were not aware of the issue that was slowly getting worse and worse. Please seek attention to this issue. I was planning on switching services if this one cant keep up with just a stable connection. As well as many others I have talked to. Please fix this issue.

EDIT
I didn't know what section to post this in, feel free to move it to a different topic.

Hello @iibeat!

As a gamer myself, I can understand the painful experience lag can create.  I’ll be more than happy to help you out any way I can!

Aside from adding Haste to your arsenal, have you completed any other troubleshooting?  I invite you to try out our Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool.  Not only will this inform you of any known outages in your area, but you can also resolve many issues using this.

Thank you so much for your time!

@ATTCares  I went through trouble shooting and I got my internet running smoothly but then just this morning I got online and awoke to a worse internet connection than before. I was really happy when It was working for the first time but then today when it was worse than normal and all day as well, Its making me realize there is no permanent solution to this issue, every time I go to fix it, It only fixes the problem for a few days then It goes right back to acting like complete garbage and if not that worse. I would love to stay with at&t because the customer service and forums are a nice way to get what you need to get figured out, figured out. Honestly I love at&t besides the fact that it doesn't work properly for gaming. Its finally came to my attention that at&t cannot connect to game servers and that's the main reason I plan on switching. Every other website loads perfectly fine every video, every photo, but not any servers. If you guys can fix this one major issue that me and a lot of other people are experiencing there would be no reason to switch.
