Is this a loop or is someone trying to get into my network?

There is a device named CIMSYS with the Mac starting with 11:22, which either means a loop is happening or someone is trying to get into our network, would having two different MAC addresses on one device (and switching them every so often) be the case of the loop? We remove the CYMSIS device but it comes back every time we restart router, and every time the non-default MAC address is applied.

Let'S shed some light on your inquires @stevjock1, about MAC address and the device named CIMSYS.

MAC address - M edia A ccess C ontrol address. MAC addresses - hardware addresses that uniquely identifies each node of your network.

All mac addresses beginning with 00-11-22 belong to the owner Cimsys Inc in #301, Sinsung-Clean Bldg, 140, Nongseo-Ri, Kiheung-Eup Yongin-City Kyunggi-Do 449-711 Korea.

Check the label on your gateway to see if the MAC address matches.
