Internet usage by device in a certain time period

My internet usage at home has been a little higher than normal lately and I have been keeping an eye out through the account management interface online. Somehow, the other day I was able to get graphs of 24 hour and 7 day usage per device, and even usage per hour of each device. It was very helpful in diagnosing issues, but today I can't seem to find where I pulled that information from. Does anyone else check that online or know how to retrieve that information? I have been searching for some time now.

This is what the graph I am referring to looks like. https://imgur.com/a/QtsfDY0

Hi @justinpirate,

We are delighted to help.

If you want to see how much data you’ve used for this bill period, we’ve got you covered.

  1. Go to Account overview.
  2. Look for your current usage info under your Internet plan.
  3. Select the plus sign, then choose See all my usage to view usage details.

Now that you know how much data you’ve used, you can estimate future data usage with the Internet Data Calculator. Or, learn more about Internet data usage.

Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!

Hi there, thank you for responding. Unfortunately, this doesn't completely answer my question. I can see the daily usage just fine, but what I am wanting to see is the daily usage per device connected to my network. If you look at the picture I posted in the imgur link, I was able to view this information just last week, and now I am unable to. The option is gone. I want to keep tabs on how much data each device connected to my home wifi is using over the course of 24 hours and 7 days. This was something I could do up until just the other day, as the option to view this, along with the graphs are gone. I want to find where the link to view this information is.

You should be able to find the internet data usage per device signing into the Smart Home Manager.

Let us know if this works!

@ATTCares I can log into that, I just can't find the link anymore in the smart home manager for the data usage per device. I have called and they instructed me to that page, but the link has either moved or vanished since last week. The first person I spoke with over the phone said that they could no longer see the link either but they knew it should be there.

Have you tried using the app version of the smart home manager? It may have the option since the browser version seemingly doesn't anymore. You may also have some more luck searching for the option using the myAT&T App.

Let us know if you can get the info using these apps.

@ATTCares Hey there, first off, I really appreciate you helping me with this and responding to my questions. I have used the app on my phone and have never actually seen the options to view the graphs on there, aside from the overall usage per month. I only got the app installed AFTER the graphs vanished from the web interface. I have spent every day for hours attempting to solve this issue. I have used different browsers, different computers, different operating systems, no matter what I cannot find the info that I need. The reason I am needing access to these statistics is because my internet usage is reporting a higher amount of data being used per month, and I found that a lot of this data is coming from our xbox one. I have monitored the data usage locally and it does not match the records kept by ATT. I am trying to avoid overage fees, especially if there is something wrong and the data usage is inaccurate.

It is odd to me that the option to view them has dissappeared around the same time that the usage has been higher than normal and I have got a warning for going over my plan. My next step might have to be purchasing my own modem that will give me data statistics, however I am trying to avoid spending money. The other option I have is switching to another company for internet, but I really have been happy with my service up until now.

It may be the gateway itself that could be causing the link to not appear. We'd recommend first Rebooting your gateway, and then trying to find it on the apps and browser versions again.

@ATTCares Omg, just rebooting the thing worked. The link is there again. I have spoke with five different representatives on the phone and they didn't tell me to just try that. I really really really appreciate you!! You have no idea
