Hi rockslow45,

I'm sorry you are not getting the Internet speeds you were expecting after your recent installation. Please send me your account information at ATTU-verseCare to test your service performance and identify what is causing your slow speed. It is important to know if the speed test results were obtained while using a wired or wireless connection.

Yes, I was on a 24mbps plan and the speed tests over wireless typically gave me 24Mbps or just slightly above.  A few days ago ATT upgraded me to the High Speed Internet Access 45 and while we do have internet, there has been a degraded speed change from when we had 24Mbps. Now it's b/w 18-23Mbps according to the wireless speed tests.

I will be contacting support as I assume there are settings or hardware not set up quite right.  I've been very happy with ATT Uverse internet since day one, so I'm hopeful it will get worked out, but I'll keep my eyes on the forums to see if it's a technology issue rather than a settings issue.  I hope your issues got worked out!

Hi hsia45,

Thanks for posting! Usually, access to 45 Mbps requires a bonded pair. Based on the speed you are reporting it seems your service may still be on a single pair profile. Please follow this link and send us your account number and contact information at  ATTU-verseCare, we will make sure both lines are in service and you are getting the speeds you upgraded to.
