how to keep others on my network out, of my network router?

I only want one wired computer to access network router.  I already changed the default access code.  Am I leaving a backdoor open?

Hello @scintron99, we are happy to help prevent outside users from accessing your  BGW210  Wi-Fi gateway by hiding or disabling your network name (SSID).

On our support article you will learn how to disabled your Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID), your name will no longer appear in the Available Wireless Networks screens.

Let us know how this works out for you.

Can they still access  192.168.1.254.  This is how they  are gaining access to the router.  Can I change this number to something else is that advisable?
