I was a u-verse customer and have changed to Direct TV and wifi. I need to change the password for 192.168.1.254. How is this done?

You need to re-post in the UVerse forum, instead of the cellular wireless forum.
You'll want to ask about changing the wireless password on your router.

Access the gateway using 192.168.1.254
Find the WiFi setting, methods differ based on gateway...
For 589, 599 use home network then wireless
Type in Device Code when requested, found on side of gateway.
Can change name, SAVE
To change default password need to select WPA/PSK which will highlight the grayed out password. Change password, save.
Note: once saved all your devices will disconnect from gateway....
You will need to reprogram each wireless device with your new settings.
