Hotspot
Hello, my children may have to do at home learning at the start of school. The schools at home learning plan requires my child to be logged in for 7 hours a day and be an active participant. Will using a hotspot WiFi connection from my cell phone at 30gb a month be able to sustain that? Can you give me an estimated answer of how many hours of internet time is 30gb worth? Thanks for your help.

Hi @Customerah,
Thank you for reaching out. We're more than happy to look into this for you.
While it is challenging to predict exactly how much data your lovely children will consume 7 hours a day, 5 times a week, we can do a little experiment. You can let them go through their school work and then check data balance on a daily basis. The average data use over a week can give a rough estimate of the daily use which you can extrapolate for the month. Alternatively, you can check your data balance at the beginning and end of a school week. The difference will be a rough estimate of weekly usage.
