DNS Name Server
I am trying to set up a Static IP address. This is part of the instructions for setting up a Terraria game server, on their wiki. The second part is port forwarding.
I the instructions I found for setting up a Static IP address, one of the pieces is finding and entering the Name Server IP address. When I found it on my machine info (per instructions), it was set to the same IP address number as the Default Gateway. Supposedly, this means I'm "behind a router" which I am, and it said to call my ISP to get the DNS server number. When I called AT&T, they sent me to this forum. Really? They can't tell me?
Can you folks tell me? (Surely, this is not the "best" way to get this info?)
Thanks,
Lisa

Huh, DNS server number? Do they mean the DNS IP addresses?
68.94.156.10 and 68.94.157.10 ATT DNs addresses
192.168.1.254 is the address of the RG providing automatic DNS service through those ATT DNS addresses.
Try the RG address first to see if it'll work, then the actual DNS addresses. Good luck 😉
